Communion Service

The covenant that gives us our identity , that is, who we are and what we have.

Therefore let us ask ourselves at each verse, who does the Bible say I am and what do I have.

We are no longer without, without God, lost in the world. Now we are in Christ ! And being in Christ makes heirs of wonderful blessings and benefits. Continue reading

ORDINATION SERVICE

The call of God cannot really be explained, it must be experienced. Every person that has had that calling upon their life knows what it means to be confronted by the Lord and apprehended for something greater than ourselves. God help us all to fulfill it and finish our course in that calling with joy and fruitfulness for His name sake.

The calling of God is Sovereign.

Moses

Exod 3:9‑12″Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10 “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” 11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

12 So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

The Mysteries of God Lesson 1

This sermon is part 1 of 2 in the series The Mysteries of God

A mystery is something unknown except by divine revelation.

Divine Secrets

Deut 29:29 “The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions. NLT

The mystery of the providence of God.

Rom 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!

34 For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has [ever] been His counselor? [Isa 40:13,14.]

35 Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense?

36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it). AMP

New Years Day 2012 New Beginnings

All of us need a second chance or in other words a New Beginning. As Pastor , I encounter people transitioning out of prison to a half-way-house environment and then from the half-way-house back into society again. It seems we all need a New Beginning at some time in our lives.

The entire human race got a New Beginning.

Gen 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Relationships Lesson 27

This sermon is part 27 of 27 in the series Relationships

Our relationship with God comes through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. The great work that Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, his burial, resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of God as our Advocate, High Priest, and Intercessor demonstrates his great love for the Father . And because of Christ’s relationship with the Father , we also are able to have a loving caring relationship with Him.

The Heavenly Father wanted to have this relationship with us so much that he sent Prophets hundreds and thousand of years before the birth of Christ to reveal him to us through prophecy.

Jesus’ prayer of intercession for us to have that relationship with the father.

John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. NKJV

The Lord Himself prophesied concerning the Devine Seed that would be born into the world to redeem us from our captivity to Satan.

Relationships Lesson 26

This sermon is part 26 of 27 in the series Relationships

Because we are entering into the Christmas season, let us look at the prophecies that announced the coming of our Messiah, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. These prophecies were spoken by God Himself directly to man and spoken to his servants the prophets and written down for our benefit.

The first prophecy was given in the Garden of Eden.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” NKJV
