My Dearest Abundant Grace Family,
I need to inform you of some recent changes within Hidalgo County that take affect today, March 17th. A letter of declaration was issued by Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez stating that there can be no gatherings of more than 50 people in Hidalgo County. Also, President Trump is strongly urging no gatherings of more than 10 people. Due to these restrictions to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus, we will be going to online services until this band is lifted. We will livestream on Sunday mornings at 10am. As usual we will start with prayer at 10am and move into the worship and preaching at 10:30. Wednesday night's livestream will be at 7pm. You are encouraged to enter in with the live chat that will be taking place. You can view the services on our website agcc.tv or through our Abundant Grace app or Facebook live. LifeCare groups will be postponed until the end of the month. More information about the LifeCare groups will be released soon on our website. LifeCare leaders will be receiving a phone call from me soon. We will not be having any other prayer meetings except the one on Sunday morning livestream, but of course, that doesn't mean you cannot pray together in your homes if you desire. As always you can still give your tithes and offerings online or drop them by the church office. Our church office hours are 8:30am to 3pm. We close at noon on Fridays. I know that these closures (businesses, restaurants, schools, etc.) are affecting many people financially and it will have its ripple effect. We are trusting God to meet all of our needs here at AGCC according to Phil 4:19! The counseling center will be open, but the counselors will be doing online counseling per UTRGV. Dr. Dutremain will still see clients personally. I will also be in the office throughout the week if you need to come by and see me.
Throughout the week I’ll be posting updates and words of encouragement on our social media as we go through this “affliction” together.  Remember Psalm 34:19 says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all." WE will get through this together! It will eventually pass! Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Love and blessings,
Pastor Joanna
